I think this law has to pass because it proposes longer sentences for crimes that cause permanent harm. We need to have harsher laws against those who cause harm.

Ezra was handed a life sentence for his injuries, like so many other children. When these criminals are released within 10 years and offend when they are young, they will again date people of child bearing years. The least we can do is protect against other victims.
