Excellent effort during a coaching transition. Riley and Co. held the class together and made it even better. Could have had a couple more with more time.

Most coaches hired at the end of the football season don't do as well as the fired coach in the prior year. Riley and staff did about the same as Pelini and staff last year.

In only about 60 days they managed to hold on to most of their commits and identified and recruited 10 more that include some intriguing prospects. They also held on to 2 out of 3 that Harbaugh tried to poach. That's good work.

Nebraska has always had a football that has risen above their recruiting class. This year it will be no different. Mike will develop his recruits and turn it in to a 4 and 5 star team, just as Nebraska has always done.

Bringing recruits from Oregan state doesn't impress me. Taking running backs from Iowa st. Doesn't impress me. At the end of the day this is not going to fly.

Very good athlete. Won't make a ton of plays, but can be a serious threat catching the football.

He's an athlete, and a good one. He's to valuable to be sitting on the sidelines. He needs to be part of the rotation.

It just seems he isn't a true QB and maybe this (TE) is where he should have been all along. And now with several leaving the position this could be perfect. Nothing is "hidden" these days.

He needs a lot of time learning how to run behind his pads. If he does not learn that, he is going to get hurt. He also does not come across as a real fluid athlete. Strong and fast for sure but really do not see much flexibility and vision as a runner.

This works if Rhule gets a great qb in the portal. Kaelin didn't play a down even though he could have played in four games. And now he's gone. One blindside sack and Raiola is down for the count and Haaberg is back at qb. I do give Haaarberg an extra A for effort as always.
