Good potential rival. Many families, like mine, exist on both sides of this game. You can get together for Thanksgiving, talk some smack, and attend a road game, all in the same weekend!

The tradition can continue to build. Both schools are easy to get to, as opposed to Wisconsin or Minnesota. The honoring of a hero is nice, but do away with it as a trophy. Something organic.

I ran out of space. We need a non-sponsored trophy!.. The sponsorship of any trophy makes it seem less traditional. What happens when HyVee backs out? The "Hustler Club Heroes Trophy"?

The Broken Chair is a great example. If I played, that would be what I would like to play for.

Iowa does not, never has and never will do anything for me. I think it has been kind of pointless to even continue playing a game on that Friday once the OU and subsequently CU games ceased.

I think it's safe t say the the majority of households in Nebraska support the Football program. Spread equally across the state, I can't imagine that the needed/wanted taxes per household would be that much. I could be wrong. I haven't researched it.

Absolutely not. This is NOT what our Founding Fathers had in mind, not that they are not turning in their graves with this socialist mess we've gotten ourselves into. I don't play football, I don't/can't go to the games and so this is taxation without representation.

The collected taxes should be used to invest in the state of Nebraska's college students to reduce tuition and fees, improve rural health care, and/or invest in things like expanding renewable energy sources. Let the boosters and fans pay for the renovations and upgrades.

Each game we are getting better and our Defense is just as strong as they were the first game. It is only a matter of time for the Offense to open up and showcase all the young talent on the team. Not to mention every team left has struggles with stopping offenses. Our D will shut down their runs.

The defense will have to carry us, and the young receivers are gonna have to step up big time. Satterfield may have to think long and hard about throwing to run vs running to throw ... we shall see, but ZI think they'll go at least 6-6 maybe 7-5

I think they'd be able to get to something like 7-5 if they still had some offensive weapons. But the lack of receivers and backs is going to make it difficult. If they do get to a bowl, it will be due to the defense.
