Physically, yes there is a chance. Mentally/emotionally they have to believe in their ability to do so. Mike Riley is a good man, smart coach. He can sell it, the players have to buy it.

Oh course there is a chance, its a small chance, but there is a chance...when I say small, I mean a tick's pooh is about how much of a chance.

With Riley as head coach it seems as though NU now has a bunch of weak minded players. It looks to me like if they have a scrape or minor injury their not going to play. Riley babies his players and doesn't seem to mind losing and making excuses for his coaches, coaching, and players. No spark!!!

Middle of the road talent in the Big10, mediocre player development, unproven offensive scheme, uncertainty with both the AD and HC positions... too big a mountain to climb beating the Buckeyes.

Firing a 10-3 coach is a lot like keeping a Billy Goat out of a baseball game. I am convinced we are cursed. Go Big Red. Go Cubs.

the only way the huskers could win is if langsdorf and cavanaugh coached the buckeyes

Never say never, but a miracle would be required. Unfortunately, they just don't match up with the top teams.

I do not care HOW the punting is done. Only that it leads to WINS.

If something is broken, what does it hurt to try something different. Insanity- Doing the same thing and expecting a different result.

I like this style of punting. With the roll-out, it keeps the defense honest by keeping them in position in case of runs/throws by the punter.

Anything less than a drop kick just isn't trying. Additionally, NU had a punter who averaged 44 yards a kick and he had to transfer for a player to be named later. Maybe get the rugby guy in and set in place before upending what would have been a solid punting game.

Too much hassle (200 miles away) for an unknown event.

The event is a non-starter compared to the structure of actual plays and the support of young men working to find their place on the team.

If I want to see a carnival or a faire I'll go see one. This change shows fear of being a competitor on the part of Rhule and NU Athletics. It's embarrassing.

I can see both sides. But it is losing a tradition.

Losing the best recruiting tool of the spring and losing the money it would bring in is not smart in my opinion.

It's not a game. This was our tradition. Not a good decision on Rhule's part.
