Biden already raised it a dollar, and it's going to get a lot worse!

We need a Road Tax on electric cars.

We have a MODOT traffic engineer in my hometown here who is an absolute rude, arrogant know-it-all piece of garbage that think timing stoplights is some kind of rocket science and doesn't care about the values of the local community. And he is a graduate of UM Columbia which is a disgraced school.

MODOT has NEVER shown me that they are a good stewards of the money they get. The always come back wanting more and the roads still get worse. I see so much of the work being done on mowing along the roads INSTEAD OF fixing THE ROADS. MODOT IS A MONEY PIT. USELESS.

The last attempt to raise the gas tax, less than half was going to the roads, the rest was going to go to the Highway Patrol. What we need is Truth in Advertising, and responsible spending.

I've had nothing but bad experiences with their "Traffic engineers" in my hometown. We have one I have complained to several times who is an absolute know-it-all jerk. He even harasses people who disagree with him. Bunches of us around here are trying to get his college degree and license revoked.

Hopefully, but not overly confident. Unlike Missouri, Auburn has played three top 20 teams, and although they lost, they fought hard. Auburn is no pushover, plus it will be in their barn.

I would give MU the edge. It won't be easy. No matter what happens, the Tigers will win.

I'd like to see how many of the democratic votes came from bots

Democrats are insisting on concessions related to health care policy (specifically extending Affordable Care Act health insurance subsidies) to reopen the government. Republicans argue for a "clean" funding bill without these policy changes.

It's beautiful. Trump is getting rid of the fake workers Biden hired, and AOC will Primary Schumer. Winner winner, chicken dinner.

As every 8th grade Civics student knows, it takes 60 votes to end the Schumer Shutdown. Since we only have 53 Republicans, we must have a handful of Senate Democrats

Trump is ending wars, getting hostages released, after nearly 2 years, while Schumer is holding the US taxpayers hostage, for free medical care for illegal aliens, while our own citizens have to pay for medical care.

The democrats want to add to the budget. It’s a CR, you don’t add to it. You open the government and then negotiate the budget.

Wish I could vote for both. This shutdown is a game both sides are playing. I want to roll up a newspaper and smack 'em both.

Republicans could easily say yes to extending subsidies for Americans and no to the other provisions. If Dems say “no” then it’s on them. Not much compromising is going on.
