The progressive socialist are treasonous. A threat to Americans and the United States. They bend rules, break rules and subvert law. They are racist, cult, extremists, and I am being kind at that. It's time for the insanity to end and for the adults to again take charge.

Why would the republicans vote against setting a law to prevent gerrymandering in 2021 HR1 ‘For the People Act’ in DC? If they wanted to prevent cheating, they would have voted yes. But here we are trying to change the maps when normally we do it every 10 years after census data.

Congressional maps should not be bases on racial matters, religions, or any matter similar.

The Republicans know they have gone too crazy and ruined their core values by not standing against trump for his craziness. The Republicans know they cannot win a fair fight anymore, so they have to result to un-American tactics. I gave myself whiplash shaking my head so hard. Hypercritics they are!

The map was redone at the last census. No more need until the next census. It should be the same for all states not matter what districts are held by Republicans or Democrats.

No. Republicans need to focus on eliminating/reducing property taxes, road improvements, etc not splitting millimeters on a map trying to garner more power.

Gerrymandering districts in NC has contributed to many people being represented by someone who does not represent their beliefs. Maybe it's time for Democrats to start this crap. We really need to find an impartial way to divide states. In this age of AI it should not be complicated.

America needs more stellar Democrats to serve 50 plus years in Congress. Without them, we wont get to see a House speaker rip up a presidential address in front of the nation, not to mention getting extremely wealthy with incredible investment skills.

Seems weird you would say this considering the top 2 wealthiest congress members are republicans. Rep Pelosi comes in at #11.

We haven't had dems gerrymandering our districts like Texas dems did. We don't need to correct democrat gerrymandering. Texas does.

Texas Democrats gerrymandered the state but R’s hold 25 seats and Dems have 12 seats. Do you not understand how gerrymandering works?

Republicans engaging in gerrymandering to cement their power and shut out Democratic voices only demonstrates their despiration.

Almost as bad an idea as replacing income taxes with higher sales taxes!

A new tax is not the answer to the city's budget problems. City leaders need to live within your means, like everyone else. Vote NO on the new taxes.

We already pay enough in taxes. The City needs to check it's priorities and pull funding from programs that truly are not conductive to the day to day lives of the general tax paying citizen. Focus on the core competencies, not liberal dream programs.

Most people already drive 75 MPH, at least. Trust the people.

A lot of people drive faster than the posted speed limit - 75 to 80 instead of 70. Increasing the speed limit will just push the actual travel rates higher - 80 to 85 instead of 75. With all of the heavy trucks on the road (some that drive slow), higher speeds are just dangerous.

Drivers are already driving 5 to 10 miles over the current limits so if it's increased I'm pretty sure they'll exceed the new limits.
