I no longer make NYE plans, since my soon-to-be ex-husband of 39 years suddenly dumped me like yesterday's trash, with no warning. I've no one to celebrate with, so why celebrate? All it means is one more new year of being alone, with about 2½ dozen more to go before I die alone. What's the point?
