When you engage in a high risk activity you have to expect that there is no guarantee for safety. The individual needs to accept the responsibilities and negative consequences of those activities.

You have to have some safety rules. But like Shiffrin who skied yesterday in the parrallel slalom, it is up to the individual. She has previously not skied in that event because she felt it is dangerous, But she did it to help Team USA win a medal. Alas, they didn't, but it wasn't for lack of trying
ReplyNo- the mountain seems to cater to out of control skiers and boarders who zoom dangerously close to downhill skiers, sometimes even brushing against them. Slow skiing zones are not enforced. Other resorts follow a "15 foot rule" which is the space that is supposed to be give to others.
