I've considered it . . . but, the cost vs. efficiency makes it highly unlikely. At this point in life, taking out a $60,000+ loan to save maybe $3,000 a year is stupid.

Don't have them, but did seriously consider them this past summer. They're just too much of a cash outlay upfront, even with the fed and state subsidies, It takes too many years to recoup the outlay.

I have had 59 wind turbines built right across from our beautiful farm in Iowa. It was horrible. Causes migraines and cows just up and died with no explanation. Just think what it does to humans.
