Losing to TTUN is never acceptable, and after back-to-back losses in The Game, is it time to re-evaluate the team's recruiting priorities? Bringing in top athletes throughout the great state of Ohio could bring the focus of the rivalry back into prime focus for this team, and right the ship in 2023. Show Less

Year in and year out, Ohio State has three goals: Beat TTUN, Win the B1G, and Win the National Championship. In order to compete with the best of the best, you have to recruit with them. And that means recruiting the top players across the country. Consider some of the best OSU players of the last decade: Chris Olave, CJ Stroud, Justin Fields, Chase Young, Joey Bosa, Nick Bosa, Ezekiel Elliott, Michael Thomas, Garrett Wilson, JSN, MHJ, Jeff Okudah, JT Barrett, Dwayne Haskins. Not one of these players called Ohio home before arriving in Columbus. Trust the process, and recruit nationally. Show Less

Ohio simply does not produce top blue chip recruits consistently year over year like it did in the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, etc. Love having an ohio rich roster but love contending for NC's more.

Top 25 is good.

In short order, Coach Rhule and staff put together a top 30 class. That's a great result for the short time they had to work with. My only pain point was losing Earnest Hausman to Michigan through the transfer portal.

The word "commit" is not just a throw away word. The recruit should weigh all their options and not be so quick to rush to a decision if they aren't totally sold on a school. On... Show More

The word "commit" is not just a throw away word. The recruit should weigh all their options and not be so quick to rush to a decision if they aren't totally sold on a school. Once you make that decision, you should stick by it and be true to the school you committed to. It all comes back to loyalty and when you continue to look elsewhere, what does that say about that person? Show Less

Recruiting must stay withing the controls of the NCAA and College Football Coaches... If the recruits are allowed to start dictating the process then the system becomes broken.

Yes. I believe the word commit means forever. If the athlete is not willing to commit, then they should wait.

Iowa just lost a 4-star recruit. That kind of talent doesn't always make it's way to Iowa City, so they need to capitalize when they get it. Not to mention Eno Benjamin was instrumental in getting a few additional recruits to Iowa and that could cause a trickle-down effect. Our loss is someone else's gain and it might just come at the hands of another Big Ten opponent. Get rid of the outdated policy. Show Less

It is outdated and if KF really wants good playmakers and not average Joe's then he going to have to make this change.

This kid is a big talent and he helped us get other big talent! If looking around is so bad, why are we looking at kids that have committed to other schools? Doesn't make sense to turn down that kind of talent when it's so hard to find!!!!

If Eno was a "lean Iowa" or a "soft commit" or a "silent commit" he could have visited other schools without issue, but because he was "committed" he wasn't? It just doesnt make sense. These are 17 year old kids.

Iowa has a policy against their commits visiting elsewhere, but are more than willing to keep recruiting and will have visits from commits to other schools. I am sure this has happened before, this case is just the highest profiled instance. Which is it Iowa? Make a change.

No commitment should be considered 'solid' until the paper is signed. Let him look. If Iowa's staff/facilities are as good as advertised, the recruit will gravitate back.
