This is cruel and unusual punishment. And punishment for just being an undocumented migrant, in some cases. Some committed no crimes in the US. No due process.

Entering the United States illegally is governed by 8 USC 1325. Penalties for unlawful entry can include fines and imprisonment. Allowing these dangerous people to stay is cruel and unusual punishment for the people that live here legally.
