Schools should never have been closed. This whole thing has been a political tragedy to prove government has the power to make us bend our knees to them.

Mask mandate needs to fully stop in every work place. Social distancing as well. Enough is enough. We have our right, to have our free right to choose for our self's back!

Comments on other side are comical. Claims they are relying on "experts", but they lack critical thinking... never asking for the science used for 6' distancing, and ignore the Oxford/Harvard experts saying 3' is all that is necessary for school. They ignore real world examples. Ignore the harm.

The science is clear - 6' distancing in schools is not necessary, which is why Europe goes by 1m (3.2'). 6' prevents schools from having more than 1/3rd capacity/instruction, & kids from even remotely normal social interaction. READ THE SCIENCE: https://academic.oup.com/cid/advance-article/

And with masks, people are allowed to cram into airplanes with 6", rather than 6' distancing, with different "cohorts" every time... but kids can't be allowed 3' apart? More science for those that care about it.... Harvard suggesting 3': https://dailyvoice.com/massachusetts/worcester/school

Kids are already in masks that they don't need to be in!! They don't need to social distance too. There is no science for them to be 6 feel apart or even 3 feet apart! Kids need to be kids! They all need to be on school full time! If teachers are vaccinated why do kids have to wear masks?

There should not be a mandatory amount. Let the huggers be huggers! Take away physical contact and just makes people more depressed

Have we lost our collective minds?? Do you really think the virus knows the difference between 3 or 6 feet? Apparently it DOES know that when you sit down to eat it's not allowed to infect others when you take off your mask. We have become a dumbed down society.

This shouldn't even be a concern.

No since there are some parents that are sending their kids to school when they have a positive test.

Judi, how big of a problem is that? The science is saying that it is not a statistically relevant issue? Because the most infinitesimally small risk may be possible, you would hurt kids? The kids are not at even remotely significant risk. Teachers are immunized. Concerned? Stay home.

We need to continue following CDC guidelines or we will , again, make matters worse. To keep schools open, follow the CDC guidelines. When they change, we can change. We shouldn't try to be "smarter" than the experts.

So, do you still oppose the reduction now that the CDC has come out concluding that 3' is adequate?

This is a matter of law and order. I have no problem with immigrants coming to this country LEGALLY. Immigrants built this country and are a valuable asset but there is a LEGAL process that must be followed. Biden, Majorkas were disasters when it came to illegal immigration.

We might get a bit closer to having fair elections without those voting who aren't even citizens.

Yes, that would be a problem that needs to be addressed ... if it actually existed.

Immigration laws exist for a reason. I can agree our current immigration process is too complicated, expensive, and ripe with corruption. The solution is to change the process, not allow people to stay here illegally.

Illegal is Illegal, no matter the situation. Law enforcement is there for a reason, to enforce the laws. If I was in another country illegally, then law enforcement in that country would do the same thing, but probably jail time first. Without laws and law enforcement there would be anarchy.

This is not a matter of legality. "IlLeGaL" immigration is a misdemeanor, like jaywalking or speeding. That people are being apprehended at immigration court dates, schools, and churches shows that these people are not dangerous nor violent. And finally, detention without due process is kidnapping.

This is not only anti-american, but it is cruel, inhumane and counterproductive. Trump has managed to convince half our Country that 65 million immigrants are both an imminent threat and less than human. Worse, most of the people believing these lies are Christians.

They should focus on protecting the community from the reported crimes and not engaging in the current racial profiling that immigration authorities have been doing.

Police resources should not be used for ICE operations. Congress just voted for an unbelievably huge budget for their police state. Don’t use local community resources!

This is a hard question. ICE isn't explaining anything or identifying themselves. PO's might follow protocol, better. However, they shouldn't have to be involved. To be fair though, I think we spend too much unnecessary time on immigration & nothing else that truly matters.
