Schools should follow the guidance provided by the State and local health depts. This guidance could vary by state.

Because kids are just as vulnerable! They pass sicknesses to each other!!!

Way the question is framed sounds like a push poll. Anyway, the virus in question is extremely opportunistic. Masking policies should reflect its deviousness and depend on day to day positivity rates and types of variants. 100's of children have died and/or have gotten the MIS disease. Testing!

With the Delta variant on the rise, we need to ensure the virus will not spread in our schools among our children, who can not be vaccinated yet. It is a little thing, wearing masks, which makes a huge difference. I taught all winter/spring with masks. Kids are resilient and flexible.

Follow the science. Kids don’t need to wear a mask. Besides, it is instilling fear in them. Let the children be free. What’s next, should we build each kid a bubble to live in? Come on man enough is enough

Kids aren't even at risk for covid. To require masks for children is pure insanity.

It's been proven that any "Variant" has little to no effect on children and they do not transmit.

Based on the fact my little one comes home with a SOAKING WET mask every day last year, I'm not sure the mask helped reduce anything. I personally feel no mask would spread less germs

The scientific evidence does NOT support masking. In fact, the literature shows masking can INCREASE risk of viral and bacterial infections AND can cause hypoxia. No child should sacrifice the right to breathe due to protocols that are not evidence-based.

Why are we teaching out children to be in fear while at school, the place they should feel the most safe? They do not need to wear them anywhere else. Let it be a choice!

Public schools are socialism. Pull your kids out and educate them yourself. However the publicly funded child care is probably worth the property taxes it costs, so it's a wash for most folks.

Many of my students display addictive behaviors regarding their phones, and it has proven detrimental to their learning and social development. Any positive of cell phone use is vastly outweighed by negative consequences.

Long overdue. Students need to focus on being educated in school, not watching videos, playing games, & chatting with each other. Educators and others do not need the distraction that cell cause. If there are emergencies that students need to know about there are other ways for them to find out.

My teaching friends say it's been a battle to keep kids off their phones in class and wastes a bunch of class time time addressing this. How will this be enforced any differently though?
