If they did it on a Saturday nobody would even know about it or care, politics is a topic that will hugely affect them and their future!

Politics is life and death, if they are educated enough in the issues facing the world that they want to protest, they should be allowed to.

Since the parents won't do it the children must.

Adults are ignoring the science. relying only on what's here now. and how changing their carbon footprint would affect their lifestyle

What better way is there for students to become a part of the process whereby the public lets their representatives know what is important to them?

YES BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT LEARNING ANYTHING USEFUL IN SCHOOLS ANYMORE!!!

Only if they are willing to accept the consequences of skipping school (missed lessons, homework...)

Be aware, be involved! These students are our future and have every right to protest when they see an issue that needs attention!

If it means that much to them they ought to do it on their own time.

Absolutely not!! They must be in school to learn. Politics should be outside of school hours. Oregon already has a graduation, test score problem. Keep politics out of the schools. So sick of politics

Students need to be in school! If they want to make this earth better study hard get a great education and come up with solutions that will fix the problems. Protesting does not fix problems!!!

Their “job” is to attend scho and become informed. They can strike after scho hours.

These kids are being led by the nose by their teachers influence. Liberals teach climate change and socialism and not about American government anymore. No one should be influenced by others.

Instead of standing on a street corner wasting taxpayers money that is paid for kids to be in school how about actually doing something like volunteering with Forrest service and replant the Forrest

Not sure what happened to learning, and I suppose they don’t have to make up the day lost.

they were coached by liberal teachers, who should teach them about the fossil record and the fact the climate is constantly changing. could have done this during spring break.

Allowing your kids to skip school for something they have ZERO control over is another far left insanity.

I respect their activism, but there are plenty of other times to do it w/o skipping school.

Because they totally do not know all the answers and they don't get taught enough in school without them leaving school to cause chaos.

School is for learning, not for political protesting. There is plenty of time outside of school to protest.

To allow people to protect livestock and pets. Also working with wolves in Idaho, the conservationists that was speaking on the news didn’t tell the whole truth. Do the research, in Idaho since 2000 we have had problems with them going on killing sprees and not eating what they kill. It’s not rare.

Wolves are killing machines. Destroying deer and elk populations, and now destroying ranchers livestock. They should have never been brought back to Oregon.

Look at Yellowstone. Once reintroduced the habitat recovered from over grazing. God has a plan.

Wolf 158 was an outlier. ATYPICAL behavior, which you noted very briefly. Usually easy known deterrence or relocation methods work!! There is no need for a killing spree of these beautiful wild animals.

Farmers need to take other action, using horse patrol, 4 x 4 patrol, more employees. You can’t just kill everything that gets in your way.

They’ve been re-introduced after having been absent from the ecosystem for a very long time.

Just the same usual amount. It's not much of a problem at Discovery Park, tho. Owners seem to have good control of their dogs.

Leash kids. They're worse than dogs.
