Yes, trap and move them. I agree that we have encroached on their territory, but it doesn't change the fact that they are predators and peoples' animals and livestock are at risk.

I am conflicted, we humans have taken their natural paths away and then we are shocked and want the animals to pay for our way of life. The cougars are an issue but the biggest issue is US.

Open hunting with dogs again educating wild cats and bears to stay in the backcountry

ODFW needs to control the population of Cougars with MORE paid hunters with dogs, Like the old days. Then maybe there will be a Deer or Elk for me to eat!!!

Maybe we should quit taking away such a large portion of their habitats by building neighborhoods within the forest.
