I used to get such pleasure from getting (only) the Sunday local paper delivered to my front porch, but when they removed the Parade mag, I suspended my subscription. I get my news online anyway.

Exactly. This hiring freeze will negatively affect forecasters, fire mitigators, et al. It is a terrible decision.

We Have funds appropriated for this already and they need to be spent wisely and not on other things. The kicker should be additional funds going back to the tax payers

Exactly!! The county and city nickels and dimes us property owners to the nth degree and now they suggest taking away our kicker? No thank you!!
