I know the feeling of one check away from trouble, & I know how $1, 5, can help. It's not for me to judge, so I don't care what they use the money for. I also sometimes take hot food back to them.

many cannot manage their money. I will give them food if they are genuinely hungry.

Most of them are smoking cigarettes, I will not give money to anyone to support their habits.

I have, but not in a while. Eventually I noticed it was a "career choice" by many of these folks. If it feels right I'll still do it, but not as a habit.

Most of people begging drive newer vehicles than I do and have been told make more money than working and don't pay taxes

Oh I could, I just will not. I was homeless at 13yo. Thanks dear old mom. There are lazy people out there, and I'm not going to waste my money on them.

Because I saw many fake homeless people driving nice cars they had hidden behind stores. So much is a scan. There are programs if they want help and are not just panhandling cause they don't want to w

I used to buy food, but they turned up their noses and said they wanted cash. Don't we all.

I can afford it, the problem is I do not know what the money will be used for. I know Christ said not to ask, however, that would not be a good steward. Then too, there are plenty of food banks.

Not enough food banks, with little to no "real" food in them (protein, etc). Canned garbanzo beans. Yay. Often outdated, too. There's a real problem, for sure.

a well-informed population makes everyone safer... can't trust anything coming out of HHS, CDC, or RFKJrs mouth...not to worry tho, soon all the smart folks will get vaccinated and the MAGAs will die of a preventable disease because they chose not to get a shot...

It’s probably very dangerous for republicans in such a deep blue state

RFK Jr. is dangerous and is dismantling health research funding and spreading false info about vaccines. The Alliance of Westcoast Governors was formed to ensure public access to credible info re: vaccine safety and efficacy. Anyone who thinks that's bad is obviously a MAGA idiot!

The us is based on laws, Follow the law. If you don't face the consequences. This will reduce chaos and improve general respect for the law. I am tired of illegal immigrants having more rights and protection than legal citizens!

The people who voted "Yes" for this obviously do NOT know the law. It is unlawful for T to send national guard troops into ANY state uninvited! He is just trying to intimidate and terrorize blue states, when red states have much higher rates! He is the felon/criminal who needs to be behind bars!

Trump is a felon, a fraud, a bigot, a racist, and has no business using the National Guard against our own citizens!!!...right out of the fascist playbook!!!
