Bend has allowed too much tourism to happen. You're got all these out of towners coming in, especially Californians. They have major spikes going on.

The lakes and rivers were crowded with people no social distance or masks. There are going to be some very sick people that just saw their last party after risking their health this last weekend.

The government needs to get people in line as they arent responsible enough to do it.

They complain about their "rights", but what about the rights of everyone who want to stay healthy?

Without a clear consistent positive message from our top elected officials, were doomed. I hope those that have died do to someone simply not wanting to wear a mask will not be forgotten

because people dont want to wear a mask and do not care if they are responsible for someone dying from covid-19.

To many out of towners. To many locals without masks. Just saw two families at a subway in Redmond, car had Florida plates. Not a single one of those people wearing masks.

I dont think people are being careful and think its no bigdeal but if they dont start complying then those who are doing the right thing to get life back to someone normal is suffering .

Exactly! This awful man should never be allowed to own animals for the rest of his life! Once an abuser, always an abuser. No matter that he is a vet. It doesn't excuse this abusive behavior, especially over tiny dogs!

I don't think he should get his dogs back until a psych eval is done and he's deemed ok to own an animal. I also think that your reporter's continued hounding of him for an interview after he clearly declined was appropriate or professional.
