We have Webformix. Fast enough for streaming and relatively inexpensive.

No the quality of the Internet here in Central Oregon is a national embarrassment. It's pathetic. In talking with people in Japan and all over Asia, they just laugh at us. Even countries like Bulgari have much better Internet.

Upload speeds are pathetic. TDS refuses to upgrade to fiber in legacy communities and it if hurting businesses. I own a design firm and had faster upload speeds 17 years ago in Lake Oswego for less money.

I was quoted $25k by TDS to get symmetrical speeds (fiber) at my home 7 years ago. for the last decade city council is ignoring how the lack of decent broadband is hurting the economy.

It's not the speed or reliability that is a problem. It is the price.

Do you think the legislature should come up with a new funding package for O-DOT?

As long as there are no new costs to homeowners. Increase other taxes that everyone shares...gas, alcohol, cigarettes, whatever. Just don't even think about trying to bleed more $$ from homeowners!

We live in Sisters. We would not be able to get over the pass to get to Portland in the winter without ODOT. This is irresponsible and dangerous!

Essential employees like that should not be laid off! We need them to keep the people on the highway safe.
