I don't think parklets should be made permanent because it's already hard to find parking. Making parklets permanent would make it harder to find parking.

Not permanently. Just as long as Covid presents a threat - which could be another several months - to give restaurants more outside space for diners. Once Covid is no longer a major threat, I think the reduction in parking is more of a problem, so parklets should not be permanent.
