I think it makes sense to have a combined bank account to pay for mortgage and childcare expenses and such. You could still have separate bank accounts for other stuff though.

No. Because if she decides to bolt on you - you're screwed - because she's got access to your life-savings.

More independence. Combining finances makes it ripe for 1 of the 2 to spend more than their fair share. Money issues along with infidelity are the main reasons for divorce.

Like most drivers, I have one hand holding my fast food, other hand holding my cell phone, a knee on the steering wheel, and rarely look up from my cell phone so I don't know if other drivers are so irresponsible to be driving distracted or not. I certainly don't drive distracted, that's bad. FJB

Many time ppl are seen looking/using phone while driving crossing the line on the road or having to slam on their brakes so they don't hit the car in front of them.
