Because the trump administration claims to support free speech unconditionally while trying to prevent people they don't agree with from exercising that right. Hypocrites like that have no business trying to silence free speech in others, just because they dislike them.

Trump had nothing to do with his getting fired.

He was removed because he was costing ABC huge financial losses.

Freedom of speech and freedom of choice and to live our options. Putin isn't in charge in US and Trump isn't in control of me!

It’s about the first amendment. It’s about democracy. And it’s about standing up to this fake king and his corrupt government

The 1st Amendment only applies to the government, not your employee. Also we do not have a democracy, we have a Constitutional Republic. You are not knowledgeable of what you are commenting about.

Let the liberals/socialists/democrats have their little echo chamber late at night. We've got work in the morning.

We have to protect everyone’s First Amendment rights, Especially if they are different from ours because if we don’t, we may be next on their list

I’m glad we live in a country where Jimmy Kimmel can stay on the air, however we’ll vote with our remote and NOT watch abc17 at all.

ABC got caught in their own trap. They encouraged Kimmel until the affiliates and the public objected so they fired him. Then ABC's loyal fan base started threatening ABC so ABC folded to the pressure. The affiliate still won't air the shows, and now everyone is angry with ABC. It's called, Karma

Exec branch has the responsibility to manage the economy with other countries, congress can’t even produce an annual budget - look at this democrat shutdown, they want to spend another 1.5T on healthcare subsidies- sorry, we are in the hole $35T, wake up America.

Congress has the power of the purse, if only they would use it. but they're too scared of being primaried by him. Of course, he should not have 1/3 of the powers he has adopted, whether constitutional or not. He's an abomination!!

Trump’s tariffs violate the constitution. Congress holds the nations purse strings. I can’t believe we hardly heard a peep from members of Congress on his actions. Spineless

Absolutely not. The Constitution gives that authority to Congress, NOT the executive branch of the government. Trump’s actions are absolutely illegal and unconstitutional. But he doesn’t care, and has been giving Congress and the American People the finger for the past 10 months.

Memo to trump...there is a document in this country called the Constitution. Read it, learn it, live it.
