Several have been arrested based on evidence and eye-witness reports. There are a lot of sick people with TDS who would vandalize a National Park. These are the same people who are on the cusp of violence against conservatives. Lock up the criminals.

24/7 surveillance. If there were a suspect on video vandalizing they would be playing the tape over and over as proof instead of being coy about it.

Dark paint and lack of knowledge. Plus, it wasn't meant to be painted.

The picture is a rubber pool liner that has been ripped loose, it is not paint. A child would know that.

Your lack of knowledge is of little value.

I can't believe this is seriously being considered as a possibility.

Instead of taking competitive bids that would have allowed professionals to submit workable solutions, Trump gave a no-bid contract to his friend & neighbor in Florida who apparently didn't know what he was doing. And we taxpayers have to keep paying for his expensive impulse buys.

It was poorly planned and given to the President's buddy and now there is no recourse to fix it. It is how criminality works for a criminal.

A lot of taxpayer money was wasted on this project.

I think if it were Obama, nothing would be said about it. I think just because it’s President Trump there is the hate that some have for him. Not this much controversy when all the other changes were done by other presidents. None of this is costing taxpayers as it has in the past.

Please provide an example of such an expansive change ... this ballroom is likely to turn out to be larger than the White House itself! I don't doubt we'll see a TRUMP sign on it before it is finished!

Trump is improving the White House, and he is using private funding to do that.

Right ... "private funding" in exchange for pardons and other favors. The more accurate description is BRIBES.

Separation of the rich and poor is getting wider. I was never invited to watch a movie in the movie room just like I'll never be invited to any dances.....I think we'd be better off if they tore down the west wing

It's history, it's respect and honor, the ballroom was never approved and the drawings show it overshadowing the White House itself. Awful
