Was painting the bottom of the Reflecting Pool a mistake?

Instead of taking competitive bids that would have allowed professionals to submit workable solutions, Trump gave a no-bid contract to his friend & neighbor in Florida who apparently didn't know what he was doing. And we taxpayers have to keep paying for his expensive impulse buys.

It was poorly planned and given to the President's buddy and now there is no recourse to fix it. It is how criminality works for a criminal.

A lot of taxpayer money was wasted on this project.
