Yes. Years and years ago I had a truck for sale on consignment at a local used car lot. In the middle of the night the carburetor and other parts were stolen. When the investigation was over they found that it was the car lot owner that had done it.

A few months ago there were 15 boxes returned from there, they knew there was more. They asked for them, he did not comply. They were just taking back what he stole.

There was a judge-approved warrant, his attorneys were present, and they were notified in advance after a subpoena was issued months before and ignored. It was not a raid, no one broke down any doors, and there were clearly urgent reasons to move forward even if they cannot be disclosed.
