The UCLA pass offense will be too much for NU slower DBs & LBs, hence the DL will be spread out to help against passing and susceptible to the UCLA rushing offense.

We have stopped the run all year...come out with a purpose and put pressure on qb and we can win this game!

Since West Coast Riley will be certain to allow Armstrong to pass 40 to 50 times, as usual he'll be the key for Nebraska to win or lose this game. Going by what we saw this season, Tommie will throw a few picks, which will lead to another loss.

They will make UCLA 1 dimensional...hope the pass defense is ready for a future NFL quarterback. Could be embarrassing.

You are there to watch the game not to play on your phone or tablet......except for the media and coaches I don't understand why it is necessary to have wi-fi available to everybody.....put your toys away and enjoy the game and atmosphere....

Riley needs another QB to run the offense he pushed upon Armstrong to execute during the season. If the Huskers had the same 'establish the run first" game plan, as we ran against UCLA, we would have won 5-7 more games. If Armstrong is the only QB option in 2016, RUN the ball!

Well, it's been 18 months, so it should be in place by now. these kids aren't stupid, and they are good athletes.

Need more than that (4-5 years). If people still don't see how dysfunctional Pelini's coaching style was, then they will never get it. Nebraska can't do what Kansas did to Gill. Only gave him 2 years. If NU does that I'm out.

If Tom would get involved and put pressure on Riley to produce or else, is the only way to get rid of this staff. I see next year being 4-8. the fans are going to get tired of these guys real fast. can they get better? SHOW US!!

Some decisions that lost games have nothing to do with time. The record already could have been better than it was.

Exactly. If Riley had used an offensive gameplan similar to what we saw against UCLA, Nebraska would have had a 9-3 or 8-4 season, and been in a better bowl game.

No, he was replacing a winning coach, he should come in on fire. The fact that the Athletic director did not hire a winning coach makes it even more of a disaster. This coach has only ever proven to be a hair better than .500.

his system is already in place... in fact with his history, a 5 and 7 record is an incredible accomplishment..... 2016 will be worse..... too bad for the student athletes....

It's Nebraska. Harbaugh came into Michigan year one and took a group of players that were 500 last year and won. You have to really study Riley's decision making that lead to those close losses. If He continues to make horrible calls in year 2..Have to move on.

As long Armstrong is QB, he can not get his system up in running, I say three year will be required for both defense and offense will be in place.

New coaches need at least three years to get their system in place and recruit players that fit that system. Obviously, there have been coaches that have moved to schools and won big right away. That is the exception. Remember, Saban went 6 and 6 in his first year at Alabama.

i don't believe that 18 months is enough, he has Pelini recruits yet, and although they are some good kids, i think it will take at least 3 good recruiting classes for Coach Riley to get his own recruits and be able to show if he is the right pick for the job...

It is what it is. These players have responded well to this transition. We all have to be flexible in life. So do the players. The ruled of nature, "Do or die" Three years. It's only fair.

a good coach will evaluate the athletes he has, then he will determine how to use them.....not the other way around.....if we ran this offense that we did Saturday we wouldnt have played our bowl game yet.....I hope he understands that....if not the schedule gets no easier the next couple of years
