Cost to the communities greatly out way the advantages. The environmental impact is significant from noise pollution to ground water disturbance which is massive but also our grids will not support this type of use without charging Missouri citizens more for energy cost that they cannot afford now.

Think Callaway Plant and that area - Plenty of power, water and not much else. This could pay to update and upgrade the nuke plant.
ReplyThe state needs to support economic development. There is so much misinformation being pushed about data centers and the professional protestors are out in force against them. Counties would be blessed to have such major projects just like the Callaway nuclear plant helps the tax base there.
