6 of one, half dozen of the other... BOTH calls were HORRIBLE. Easy to make the correct call....IF you're paying attention to your responsibilities.

Nat Championship on the line. In addition there was a phantom PI call in the last minutes that gave them the field position to make their last field goal.

I remember watching this game,and being devastated watching Florida state celebrate at the end of the game, the better team certainly did not win that game.

The 94 Orange Bowl because there was more than one that literally lost the game for us and it was for the National Championship.

It wasn't just 1 call. The FSU TD that was a fumble; the Nebraska fumble that was a TD; the phantom penalty on Dixon's punt return TD; almost every penalty after the Huskers' last FG. It felt fixed.

If they would have had replay, the pass to McCloskey would have been ruled no catch. No first down, no ball on the 5.

ReplyThey were both robbery on the refs part but the receiver for Penn state was no where near catching that pass inbound. It was clearly out of bounds and really showed the referees favoritism toward Penn

ReplyHuskers still could have won 94 Orange Bowl. Bad call was early in the game. 82 PSU was right at the end.
