Just maybe, some of the students could learn how to read, write, and learn a little bit about math. Their texting skills are already, just fine.

The fact that legislators would use this for political gain and schools would use this as a financial game (teaching to the tests so they get an A rating, which gives them more money, wash-rinse-repeat). is a no from me. Didn't they learn something from the failure of the No Child Left Behind?

They all should be given compensation and restitution for having their lives destroyed, many jailed without even a trial. Unfortunately, the money (millions) to do this has already went to the criminal Biden family on behalf of donations to Ukraine, via the taxpayers.

Some of them had been imprisoned for four years, and had not even had a trial. Political witch trials supreme.

Because as the old saying goes you commit a crime you do the time. The only reason that they're getting off is because their president is a criminal as well and he's blind and he got away with the crime as well

Those people committed crimes because of his urging. People were hurt and died.

It's impossible to "back the blue" while pardoning the boorish behavior of these individuals.

Àny person who entered the capitol during that riot is guilty of trespass and property destruction. Anyone who attacked law enforcement officers is guilty of assault on an officer. To blanket pardon these people is a slap in the face to the rule of law.

Absolutely not. Law enforcement officers were badly injured and some murdered. In many committed suicide after the incident. The video speak for themselves of the horror that they created on that day.

Teachers have to go through so much just to get certifications and are now vilified more than ever. Its a thankless job that's never gotten enough credit (and pay) it deserves.

The teachers work way too hard and deal with way too much much for the pay they get. They teach the children of what is going to be our future leaders and I want them to have the best possible education.

I'm a teacher. And Missouri's retirement system takes 14.5% off the top without permission. We work hard but we are hardly left with a living wage.

In 1989 the min teacher's salary for the state of MO was 18,000. Using an inflation calculator it would be approximately 43,500 today. Many teachers work 2nd or Summer jobs to supplement their salaries.

Is this question really needing to be asked? Really ? This is what society is reduced to? Paying football and baseball and a host of other sports players HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS PER GAME OF 3 OR 4 HOURS duration all the while paying first responders and K thru 12 educators pennies... Really?
