We're running out of space to create another dump site in Central Oregon. If another county has the space, it makes sense to find a cost-effective way to take trash to an existing landfill rather than adding another one to the landscape.

The City needs to take care of their own garbage.
ReplyThere is plenty of space here in CO to create a new site. Makes no sense to truck it far away.

ReplyYou and I created the trash we should deal with it with in 10 miles of Bend. OR perhaps between Bend and Redmond so both towns could use it.
ReplyAvoid transportation costs increasing the carbon footprint of our local trash even more.

ReplyCover the landfill. /Find a new site, in the county. Build apartments on the old one.
