I think our Great Governor Brown should send the police after them, hand cuff them, thrown them in jail and fine them. Then make them do their jobs, if they do it again, hand cuff them to their desks

These are elected officials sent to the capital to do their jobs-running and hiding (and threatening violence) is immature-stand and fight and if you lose, man up-how embarrassing.

They’re doing the right thing representing the people that elected them. This should be up to vote by the people of this state. She’s overstepping her boundaries.

I hope they stay out as long as it takes and to send the police after them is rediculous and fine them is even more rediculous.

Thank God for the Republicans. This is the only way to deal with an incompetent Governor and out of control Super-Majority who won't listen and want to micromanage our lives and tax us into oblivion.

No, they shouldn’t be fined. It was a way to respond to those who wouldn’t listen to them or work with them to come to a mutually good solution for the majority of the state.

I am proud they are standing up for what is right. That is rich that the dims want the Republicans heads when they have done walk outs more than once. Once again, double standard!

Democrats will not negotiate with the Repulicans even to get this onto the ballot so we can all vote on it. The Dems have forced the Republicans out, and they have no other option.

When it has to do is something that should be put before the voters and the voters would not even agree with it, we want our senators to not show up because that bill should never be passed!

This type of tax will always be passed on to we consumers. Oregonians already pay an income tax. It's another heavy burden on Oregon consumers that will be passed on to us - the increased costs is nothing but a hidden tax.

This is a sneaky way to get sales tax in place and will add as much as 15% to the consumer's cost for retail purchases.
