Considering the cost of other roadwork fixes I think round abouts are beneficial & good to keep traffic moving & help to keep speeding down. Right turn signals need to be observed.

I really like the roundabouts. But it would be nice if people USE their blinkers on the exits. From my DMV book said: making any turns (left or) RIGHT You use your blinkers. I've had my license 49 yrs

When they are built correctly I like them. They save energy. Why stop at an intersection if you don't have to? Stop signs waste gas, brakes and time when there are no other cars in the intersection.

Love them! Mostly, because they keep traffic moving and they keep traffic moving. Also, they keep traffic moving! That is the main function of them, isn't it?

They are efficient if only people would signal it would make them more so.

Roundabouts are one the most efficient and cost effective way to move traffic in certain conditions. I just wish our city traffic engineering dept would consider more multiple lane roundabouts.

The safest and fastest intersection. Avoids t-bone accidents.

Round abouts or traffic circles, which ever, were made for people who have no idea how to negotiate a 4 way stop!! I personally hate them and try to avoid them if at all possible!

Roundabouts make entering the streets adjacent to them extremely difficult and unsafe, because there is a constant stream of traffic with no gaps, therefore causing congestion and irritable drivers.

Every time I have almost been in an accident it was in around about. It is difficult to tell when it's your turn to go and even when it is, you frequently only have a few seconds to get out there.

People don't use turn signals when exiting & they won't slow down & use common sense

Because many drivers use roundabouts as a four way stop which is pointless! Drivers continue to back up traffic because they don't know how to enter or exit the roundabouts.

Those people shouldn't have licenses.

Driving anywhere in Bend these days is a nightmare. Planning commission gets a "F-"

(5) Why does north bound 20 exit to the right? This required a new overpass to be built over the new highway, only to dump you immediately into another righthand exit, using the other recently built overpass/cloverleaf interchange. Is Bend not aware of exiting on the left?
