There are only 6 in our family gathering this year by coincidence, but if another of my children happened to be available he would be invited also. Lets see, that would make 3 households and 7 attendees.

Happy to keep it small - just my family that lives at home. We had plans to attend a larger family gathering but as Covid numbers increased, we decided to opt out. My elderly (91-year-old) father lives with us so we stay diligent to protect him. We made this choice before statewide restrictions.

We will gather as we feel safe and will not bow to someone who has no lawful power over our lives.

Careful and cautious is the way, Do not plan to spend my life in a bubble. If all followed common sense there would be no need to take our rights away which is what is being done.

Exactly! This awful man should never be allowed to own animals for the rest of his life! Once an abuser, always an abuser. No matter that he is a vet. It doesn't excuse this abusive behavior, especially over tiny dogs!

I don't think he should get his dogs back until a psych eval is done and he's deemed ok to own an animal. I also think that your reporter's continued hounding of him for an interview after he clearly declined was appropriate or professional.
