Probably so, at least eventually. We're killing our planet.

How hot does it have to get? How mild do you want winter? How many once every 500 year storms, every year can you stand?

No!

Why move towards non-gasoline cars when there is talk of removing 4 hydropower dams on the Snake River?? They estimate it will cost between 10 billion and 23 billion dollars to replace the benefits of those 4 dams. Why are politicians and people so stupid??

Mining lithium for batteries has it's own negative environmental impact and, it the not to distant future, the disposal of millions of lithium batteries will be be a real issue. How many new ways can we come up with to wreck the planet?

I might be fine for Portland but it will never work for Eastern Oregon! But Politicians in Salem could care less about people living over here!

We don't have sufficient electrical grid to support a higher demand in electricity. Ask why the wind turbines are shut down regularly. The grid can't support the additional electricity.

First we need to generate GREEN POWER!!

Electrical grids will never handle the power of that many electric cars. We will have massive electrical outages and it is too expensive, much more to run than gas when we are independently self-sufficient for oil. Batteries alone are not affordable. How many more reasons do you need?

Even with tax credits, electric cars are not affordable for many Oregonians. Meanwhile, electric trucks have very limited range when hauling large loads. I could understand mandating hybrid vehicles, but this comes off as power grab by wealthy politicians who don't understand their constituents.

NO way, Unaffordable, not enough power, batterie disposal, mining for lithium more destructive to the earth, no matter what the US does it will not help climate change. Another Democratic way to control us.

I am surprised the big gas fueled auto makers are not fighting the E.V. conversion.

Considering that I have physically seen the Tesla trucks filling up with gas at the local Shell station I see no point to it. Not to mention I am NOT in a financial position to buy a new vehicle nor new vehicles for the farm.

NO absolutely NOT! This absurd idea of abandoning fossil fuels is fueling inflation, costing Americans way to much, hurting America. All the stupid green ideas are and will cause future catastrophes, blackouts, unsustainable E V problems and an unrealistic infrastructure nightmare. it is WRONG!!!

Most people these days just wont have the money for a new electric vehicle. And I've never seen a used electric car lot. That, and electric drag cars just dont sound as good.

In this economy with a recession and inflation people can't afford one, and this will do nothing to help the environment, climate change is a hoax

Oh Gabe, you lil' rascal! It's adorable when you scream about climate change. Just because you cry about it doesn't make it untrue. You've never once provided any evidence to it being a hoax. For a man of God, I've never seen someone who hates humans and the planet more than you. Will pray for you.

Your question really needs to address wilderness camping as that activity impacts greatly the wilderness landscape. Day, permits, visits are far less destructive to the Three Sisters Wilderness and easier to obtain.

Your already paying for high gas prices to get there

"Your" already paying? Did you think the price of gas included admission to wherever "you're" going? How about Disneyland? "Your" already paying for the gas to go there so it should be free, right? Maybe if you fly they should pay you?

Just one more thing you have to pay for

The bums are camping in or near the canal by Brookswood. COID is good about expelling them quickly but the trash blows all over the place. People used to walk this trail all the time. Now I see the vagrants smoking crack/meth. My neighborhood that borders this is full of families.
