Tell you what. I'll connect with the mayor and have him help me post two, big shiny painted 4'X9' sheets of plywood on each end of town stating that ....."SORRY FOLKS, WERE ALL FULL UP!!!...Know this all: who come: (Your in Central Oregon for a good time........not a long time!!)

Might as well look like Portland at this point because many Portlanders are moving here.

Reach for the sky, Bend! Be that big city you know you want to be. Then expand up and down the 97 corridor. Build it and "they" will come. And we all know who "they" are.

Help fight sprawl by building up.

Let's keep the footprint of the city smaller and be able to provide services that will reach everyone. Transportation, events, schools, healthcare, shopping, etc.

We need to prevent urban sprawl. Also, we cannot expand out until we have infrascructure. Sewer lines, road construction and power lines are expensive.

It is better for the environmental impact to allow more housing in rural areas. EXPAND. Go OUT.

As long as there are no new costs to homeowners. Increase other taxes that everyone shares...gas, alcohol, cigarettes, whatever. Just don't even think about trying to bleed more $$ from homeowners!

We live in Sisters. We would not be able to get over the pass to get to Portland in the winter without ODOT. This is irresponsible and dangerous!

Essential employees like that should not be laid off! We need them to keep the people on the highway safe.
