There is much risk associated with legalizing marijuana on the federal level, including expanded availability to young people. In states where the drug is legal right now, teenagers have an easier time getting their hands on pot and there are a rising number of daily/regular users in the 18-24 age range. This is our future workforce! Though some health benefits have been identified for legal marijuana, there are also harmful aspects to its use that, with legalization, more people will undoubtedly experience after either trying legal marijuana or becoming regular users.

Legalization correct unlawful intrusion. No where in the enumerated powers section of the Constitution is the Federal Government granted the permission to engage in this sort of meddling

ReplyLegalization of marijuana will cut the head off the drug cartels and reverse the trend of the highest rate of incarceration in the world.

ReplyStates should be able to illegalize it, though.
