no one enforces it...kids are still being stupid on these things. so what was the point?

We do not even have any recycling in my area, no cardboard, no glass, no nothing!!!

I have a business literally across the street from their office/dump location and still get consistently missed on recycling. I have been missed regularly on garbage as well. The city has the ability to pull their contract if this continues.

I live in Crook County. We went a whole month without recycle pick up. The service is always on FB because of inconsistent service. We went two weeks with no garbage pickup. It's like this all over the city as well as out of city limits! VERY FRUSTRATING when you're paying for a service!

LOL. In Crooked River Ranch - we don't know what 'recycling' is. The garbage company totally did away with it. So - I feel no sympathy for some of you who have 'delays'.

Unfortunately we don't have curbsid pickup in rural Deschutes Co. Garbage PU has been good since its been Republic.

I have never had a problem with cascade disposal If there is a problem they notify by email and phone

Treatment Centers should have beds available any time someone asks for one!! This could be a good in between phase if they help get the people into treatment!
ReplyI'm for it, especially since it won't cost me more in homeowner taxes. Funds coming from grants and "community partners" is a good way to fund it vs. taxing homeowners more. It's a win-win.
ReplyThere needs to be more emphasis on treatment against punishment for drug offenders and it's wrong to treat the mentally ill like typical, bad criminals.
