It's a benefit to a point but, good due diligence (research) is your responsibility to make educated choices to place your vote........But, you need to VOTE regardless of deep valuation!

Absolutely! How else are you going to be familiar with the issues? As for the candidates, it also helps to read their platforms when you are not familiar with them.

We should all be in favor of anything that creates a safer community for all of us, regardless of political affiliation. Since our federal funds have been decreased, we need another form of revenue to supplement our fire fighting revenue.

These things have been voted on and approved by voters in the past already. This is just another example of hands out for $$ from property owners. I am against ANY new taxes on property owners. We are tapped out!! Tax alcohol, cigarettes, whatever else to make EVERYONE share in the pain.
