Due to how dry everything is and the fact that I have common sense, I plan on being extra cautious this year with fireworks I purchase. There hasn't been an independence day I haven't celebrated yet in my 48 years, nor will there be one so long as I'm here.

NO and I do not think they should be sole, so many people are NOT responsible and it is too hot, way too hot and dry just asking for trouble. Like the kid a few years ago that started the big Columbia Gorge fire!

I don't usually, and don't understand WHY they are being sold when they have been outlawed this year due to the high temps and fire danger. Why were fireworks even sold?? It will only encourage /allow rule-breakers and others who don't give a crap about anything but a few hours of entertainment.

It is insane that we are allowing fireworks to be sold this years. Too many chances of mishaps by people that don't take proper precautions.

Celebrating Fourth of July knowing that America is colonized, and people don’t accept it is the main reason. Another is consumerism. Finally, the earth is a heat ball. It’s dry. It is at risk. Last year, a couple of drunk folks launch fireworks at are yard and caught it on fire. All for a post. Nah.

Driving anywhere in Bend these days is a nightmare. Planning commission gets a "F-"

(5) Why does north bound 20 exit to the right? This required a new overpass to be built over the new highway, only to dump you immediately into another righthand exit, using the other recently built overpass/cloverleaf interchange. Is Bend not aware of exiting on the left?
