It's a way for people to make some money. Of course the state couldn't stand not getting their grubby hands in the pot.

I'm fine with them, as long as they are nowhere near my house. People in Bend need to lighten up. These short-term rentals help the local economy, especially during the "off season". It's worth it.

Tourists belong in our hotels, not in my neighbor's house.

We share a 200 ft access road/alley to the street and they do no snow removal and refuse to do so. I have had to pick up bottles, cans, and cigarette butts. They do not take their trash barrels in.

STRs have ruined our neighborhood. We live in a residential neighborhood and they are a business. Strange people, unknown cars, extra vehicles on the street, noise, no neighbors around who care.

My plans will not change. What will change is trying to limit my exposure to the Media Hysteria over this new variant.

We will all probably get COVID sooner or later. 45,545 fully vaccinated people have tested positive for COVID to date in Oregon. Omicron is even more contagious than Delta. I plan to be careful but if I get COVID so what? I will die or I won't.

NO! Not in any way shape or form! I live by faith not by fear! So tired if the hype and fear mongers, the chicken little's of the world, the sky is falling, the sky is falling. Trust in the Lord and he shall make thy ways straight.
