Just motion sensors in our long driveway and on two sheds. On, then off when they aren't used.

Motion detector on our truck and in our back yard. Too much theft going on in the neighborhood.

Porch light is a motion sensor. Little solar lights on my back patio. I love to see the stars and it's getting harder with more people here. I agree with reducing light pollution.

We live out in the country, Coyotes, bobcats even cougars, of course I have big lights and I feel it is outrageous that anyone could regulate outside lighting! We are letting dangerous repeat offenders out on low to no bail to kill innocent people and we concerned about house lights? Thats insane!

No, I don't!

No OS Lights on at my place unless I need them. Few neibors with "security" lights. Worst offender is Sisters School District. Parking and grounds lights on all night long every night. Forget star gazing here.

Your comment is confusing. You say you don't have more lights on outside, the news article is stating the county wants exactly what you're doing, and you're upset?

Ours are motion sensored lights. Four...one at the step for our porch, 2nd at door. The other two are seldom on, Back yard.

I have one porch light that is turned on once it’s dark and turned off once I go to bed. It’s only on for a few hours. Light pollution has direct and negative effects on energy consumption, human health, disruption to the ecosystem and wildlife, and even crime and safety.

There is no clear evidence that increased outdoor lighting deters crimes. It may make us feel safer, but has not been shown to make us safer. Most property crime occurs in the light of the day. Some crimes like vandalism and graffiti actually thrive on night lighting. https://www.darksky.org/

Exec branch has the responsibility to manage the economy with other countries, congress can’t even produce an annual budget - look at this democrat shutdown, they want to spend another 1.5T on healthcare subsidies- sorry, we are in the hole $35T, wake up America.

Congress has the power of the purse, if only they would use it. but they're too scared of being primaried by him. Of course, he should not have 1/3 of the powers he has adopted, whether constitutional or not. He's an abomination!!

Trump’s tariffs violate the constitution. Congress holds the nations purse strings. I can’t believe we hardly heard a peep from members of Congress on his actions. Spineless

Absolutely not. The Constitution gives that authority to Congress, NOT the executive branch of the government. Trump’s actions are absolutely illegal and unconstitutional. But he doesn’t care, and has been giving Congress and the American People the finger for the past 10 months.

Memo to trump...there is a document in this country called the Constitution. Read it, learn it, live it.
