A firm tone is often needed, but through experience I have learned yelling at my son is useless... it's better to talk to him after the dust has settled."
Commented "This is a tough question, with no easy answer. The debate of nurture vs nature is real. Kids copy their parents. They learn what their parents teach them. That being said, a flower always grows between the cracks on a sidewalk. Ungrateful parents can still end up with a grateful kid. Kids are in school and in the community. Somewhere along the line, they may find others who are grateful and like the feeling they get from gratefulness too."
