Reply ReplyWe watch a few shows together, but most of our tv viewing is not at the same time, much less the same shows.
Reply ReplyI detest today's crappy so-called "reality" and "celebrity" shows and prefer PBS, old "B" movies and Noir movies; while my husband tends to watch old early '60s sitcoms and a couple of game shows. We'll watch a few things together, but he'll generally watch his shows on another TV.

We watch tv together each evening. However, we each have things we like when the other is doing other stuff.
ReplyWe like a lot of the same things so it is easy. We watch the things the other one doesn't enjoy when they are doing something else.
ReplyWe do like the same shows, usually. I sit thru the shows I don't like & do something else, emails etc. He does the same. But there is usually no more than 1 or 2 shows each that we don't like.
ReplyWe generally watch the same shows because we both enjoy them. There are times where I will watch a show that my wife doesn't care anything about, and vice versa, but as a rule we pretty much enjoy the same shows.
ReplyReally id say 50/50
ReplyMostly we watch the same things like Shark Tank, Battle Bots, DVD movies, but I like home remodel type shows more (Love It or List It, Property Brothers) and he likes car shows more so we share TV time.
ReplyNcis, Swat, 911, Blue Bloods, and family died and wheel of fourtune
ReplyBefore my wife passed away a few weeks ago we watched TV together. She would put up with what I liked and I would put up with shows she liked. Then there was many we both liked.
ReplyWe come together at 4:00. News time, then the rest of the evening. He watches my mushy ones and I watch his more serious ones. We have some time in the afternoon to do whatever needs to be done apart.
ReplyMostly. If hubby wants to watch a thriller or gore, then he does so without me. If I want to see horse stuff, then I'm on my own.
Replyonly one TV is working
ReplyThere are a few shows that he enjoys that I don't, and visa versa, but for the most part we watch and enjoy the same things.
ReplyNot all the same shows, but a few of the same.
ReplyWe mostly have the same taste. But there are some shows I don't care for that he watches on his own, like Star Trek.
ReplySpend time together
ReplyYeah we watch almost all our shows together. We enjoy the same stuff usually but if I'm not interested in the show or movie I'll still sit next to him and sew or color or play on my phone. Just being together makes me happy. We are late 20s btw been together for 7 years
ReplyUsually TV time is shared time in the evenings.
ReplyWe both like the same kinds of shows: News, Crime/Drama, Action/Adventure. Scripted series. We do NOT like reality TV, serials or sitcoms.
