We watch tv together each evening. However, we each have things we like when the other is doing other stuff.

We like a lot of the same things so it is easy. We watch the things the other one doesn't enjoy when they are doing something else.

We do like the same shows, usually. I sit thru the shows I don't like & do something else, emails etc. He does the same. But there is usually no more than 1 or 2 shows each that we don't like.

We generally watch the same shows because we both enjoy them. There are times where I will watch a show that my wife doesn't care anything about, and vice versa, but as a rule we pretty much enjoy the same shows.

Mostly we watch the same things like Shark Tank, Battle Bots, DVD movies, but I like home remodel type shows more (Love It or List It, Property Brothers) and he likes car shows more so we share TV time.

Before my wife passed away a few weeks ago we watched TV together. She would put up with what I liked and I would put up with shows she liked. Then there was many we both liked.

We come together at 4:00. News time, then the rest of the evening. He watches my mushy ones and I watch his more serious ones. We have some time in the afternoon to do whatever needs to be done apart.

Mostly. If hubby wants to watch a thriller or gore, then he does so without me. If I want to see horse stuff, then I'm on my own.

We mostly have the same taste. But there are some shows I don't care for that he watches on his own, like Star Trek.

Yeah we watch almost all our shows together. We enjoy the same stuff usually but if I'm not interested in the show or movie I'll still sit next to him and sew or color or play on my phone. Just being together makes me happy. We are late 20s btw been together for 7 years

We both like the same kinds of shows: News, Crime/Drama, Action/Adventure. Scripted series. We do NOT like reality TV, serials or sitcoms.

He likes westerns. I like English mysteries. There are more westerns on TV than English mysteries or so it seems.

I detest today's crappy so-called "reality" and "celebrity" shows and prefer PBS, old "B" movies and Noir movies; while my husband tends to watch old early '60s sitcoms and a couple of game shows. We'll watch a few things together, but he'll generally watch his shows on another TV.
