Definitely not into the blood & guts macho bs, but much of what passes for comedy these days is unfortunately crude and vapid. But there are bright spots.

I would rather come out of a movie feeling happy than be too scared to walk to the car. And likely have nightmares.

My two favorite movies of all time are A Few Good Men and Sweet Home Alabama. However, I enjoy romantic comedies as they reduce stress.

Romance movies of any sort are just too predictable. Troubled gorgeous woman with slight flaws.... Gorgeous guy with communication issues... 10 minutes before the end, it works out.
ReplyI watch to be excited and see things that don't really happen in day to day life. It my guilt escape
ReplyI liked Solo about a free-lance mountain climber. And the one about a tight rope wire walker across the twin towers. Various sailing adventures. They take me places I'd never go.
ReplyActually, it would be a "B" movie, old school 30's-40's nor, or foreign film with subtitles.
ReplyLove the action and drama.
ReplyLove these kinds of movies
