When I was a homeowner, I planted fruit trees in the back yard. But, when my husband got laid off, we sold the house and we rent an apartment. Without a yard of our own, I don't have trees.

ReplyLots of apple orchards locally here. I own a good bit of blueberry bushes too.
ReplyBut so do apple maggot flies and I don't want to spray because it harms all insects, so I don't use the apples

ReplyI have peach, apple and fig trees. Bonus is access to many orchards and farmers markets.

ReplyMy mom has a couple of young apple trees, but since we live in northern Michigan cherry and apple orchards are an easy drive away. We pick every year!
