THERE ARE LOTS OF HOLIDAYS EVERY YEAR. IF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT CHRISTMAS THEN SAY SO.

I LOVE the holiday season and wish it could last longer, but at least the decorations put me in that holiday spirit and it allows it to last longer in my head.

Honestly I'm in the fence on this 1. Some stores do put up items WAY TOO EARLY, but for many stores, the holiday season is their money maker. Without the holidays, they would go under, especially in the new digital age.

It's annoying that Christmas decorations go up so early after Halloween. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and it gets shut out earlier every year.
ReplyHaving a full isle full of Christmas decorations when Thanksgiving hasn't even started is a bit annoying. It doesn't let us appreciate the holiday spirit as much either!
ReplyBy Holiday if you mean Christmas then yes stores do put up displays to early. Many if not most put out Christmas displays before Thanksgiving Holiday weekend.
ReplyIt ruins the holidays! Hearing Xmas music and endless ads in the fall just piles on the STRESS.
ReplyAnd it's getting worse, now I see them in September! Sheesh!
ReplyChristmas displays in September... enough said...
ReplyThe dollar store has an aisle for Christmas and an isle for Halloween.
ReplyI can understand places like Hobby Lobby putting up theirs early, you need to give crafter time to make their items for sale. But, just for the general public, Easter can go up After St. valentine's Day. And Christmas/Chanakkah/Kwanzaa can go up After Hallowe'en. Let's enjoy the previous holiday,1st
ReplyI LOVE CHRISTMAAS, and IT. But, I DON'TAPPRECIATE HOW IT'S SO COMERCIALIZED. CHRISTMAS is ABOUT THE BIRTH OF JESUS CHRIST, NOT ABOUT HOW MUCH MONEY WE CAN WASTE TRYING TO OUT DO EVERYONE ELSE!!
ReplyCorporate America pushes Christmas earlier and earlier to increase their profits. They don't usually even mention Jesus Christ, they're all about Santa Claus and getting the people to buy gifts for everyone they know. It's a shame so many people go along with it.
ReplyLike they're always terrified of missing one early sales opportunity.
