I am someone who gets anxious very easily. Surprises cause me a lot of stress. Especially surprise birthdays. I wind up remembering more about being sacred of being forgotten than anything.

Because it makes my kids happy. I don't like to be surprised with kitchen appliances or skimpy clothes though!

ReplyI never make a big deal about my birthday BUT when I have been surprised it just made me feel extra special for daysss! It feels good knowing that someone thought about me & made an effort to show it!
ReplyI got surprised on my 50th Birthday, My brother and family even came from out of state. It was a lot of friends, family, games and great food.
ReplyIt would be very nice, my birthday is on the 30th of December and I always seem to be forgotten.
ReplyMy birthday is in December and always falls under the Christmas shadow. It is really nice to be remembered and appreciated instead of hearing complaints about holiday spending.
