....but family lives across the country, so it is easier to give gift cards for them, so that there isn't a hassle with returns, things not fitting, etc.. For lcal friends, I buy little gifts.

I know what my family likes and I try very hard throughout the year to find things that will bring them joy/make them smile. they know how much I love them! I want to find that THING that shows it!!!

It means a lot more to put thought into a gift.
