The libraries are indispensable! But, in our travels every town we'd come into it's the "used book stores" the boys would spend their money in. Lots of books for a buck then.

I buy. The only books I check out of the library are travel books for a spot where I am traveling to.

I like to borrow books from the library, but can’t always read them before they’re due. There’s often a hold on them when I try to renew. So I like to buy them used, and can read them at my own pace.

The problem is that they closed the store in LA Pine to create an office. For some reason a library is not a quiet area like it was when I was a kid. They are making a office into a quiet room..

I am not sure what you are commenting about. Store? office?

I borrow books from the library as well as buy books for my Kindle. I can not read small print anymore withut headaches so my Kindle is great. The library has so much to offer.

We also live a more minimalist lifestyle so we don't want them in our space once we're done reading them.

Our library has just about everything you could want. You may have to wait a bit for the most popular titles, but that’s fine with me. It means more people get to enjoy the books.

Also, this question is very poorly worded. You can do better KTVZ!

there are already enough things to watch out for at CRR... wildlife, bikes, pedestrians, etc ...and not a sidewalk anywhere... would prefer not to see the result of an ATV vs. auto/truck...

Safe parking programs have a proven track record of successfully taking people from being homeless into having a place of their own. Safe parking programs cut down on costs to cities for ambulance calls, police calls, visits to emergency rooms and mental health crises that costs taxpayers money.

Perhaps? Hiding the un-housed in various random locations doesn't solve much. This is just another band-aid solution! Seems just the latest adaptation of "kicking the can down the road"...?
